For quick fixes, tune-ups, and tech help. Billed by the hour at a transparent rate quoted before we start.
For open-ended work. You pay for labor plus materials, each itemized so you can see exactly where the money goes.
For defined-scope projects like a deck or a full install, you get one all-in price agreed before work begins.
A 1.5-hour minimum applies to on-site visits, covering travel and setup. Estimates are free. For larger jobs I'll walk the site (or review photos), then send a written quote before anything is booked.
Based in the Merrimack Valley, serving communities across northeastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Not sure if you're in range? Just ask; travel beyond the core area can usually be arranged for a small trip fee.
Tell me what you need and I'll get back to you ASAP with next steps or a free estimate.
Estimates are free and carry no obligation. Fixed-price quotes are valid for 30 days and cover the scope described in the quote. Work that falls outside that scope, or unforeseen conditions discovered on site, is discussed with you and handled as time-and-materials with your approval before it proceeds.
You can cancel or reschedule a booked job at no charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a trip fee to cover reserved time and travel. If materials were special-ordered for your job, their cost is non-refundable once ordered (see below). I'll always try to work with you on timing.
Small jobs are typically paid on completion. Larger fixed-price projects may require a deposit to reserve the date and cover initial materials; the balance is due on completion. If a project is canceled before work begins, any deposit is refunded less the price of any materials already purchased and any labor already performed (such as planning or site prep). Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
On time-and-materials jobs, materials are billed at their supplied price, which includes a modest markup covering sourcing, pickup, and handling; on fixed-price quotes, materials are already folded into the agreed price. Because materials are ordered specifically for your project, they are not returnable once purchased. Manufacturer warranties on parts and equipment are passed through to you. Workmanship is guaranteed: if something I installed or repaired fails due to my work, contact me within 30 days and I'll make it right at no additional labor cost.
If you're not satisfied with any part of a job, reach out directly and I'll work with you to resolve it before it becomes a formal dispute. Most issues are settled with a quick conversation and a return visit.
